Meet the Team

Ravi Gupta has spent almost a decade coaching entrepreneurs and other high-performing leaders on building and maintaining healthy habits. That work has inspired his vision for Squadra.

He is a serial social entrepreneur, having launched and led many successful organizations, including RePublic Schools, Arena, and The Branch. He’s the co-host of Majority 54, a political podcast about talking to friends and family with different beliefs. He also held a number of roles on Obama’s first campaign and first term, including as assistant to David Axelrod and Susan Rice — where he was “a slightly more substantive version of Gary from Veep.” A native of Staten Island, he graduated from Yale Law School, where, unbeknownst to the faculty, he was a pioneer in the concept of remote schooling, and Binghamton University, where he received an excellent and reasonably priced education. He’s won numerous awards and honors, including the Harry S. Truman Scholarship, Binghamton’s University Medal (the school’s highest honor, as if you didn’t know), Forbes 30 Under 30, and Crain’s NYC 40 Under 40. He may start a 50 Under 50 list so he can continue this run of age-indexed achievement.

Sadie Durante is a fitness educator, coach, and one of the co-founders of Power Monkey Fitness. She directs its signature educational camp and leads its fitness scholarship program. She has coached for CrossFit Gymnastics seminar staff, was a founding trainer at Solace New York, and pioneered bringing aerial training into mainstream group fitness.

She has shaped Power Monkey Camp (est. 2012) into a global fitness destination and a premier resource for fitness education, bringing thousands of participants from over 40 countries and nearly every U.S. state together in rural Tennessee for an unforgettable week of expert coaching, camaraderie, and personal growth.

Before coaching, Sadie toured internationally as an aerialist, performing for music artists, festivals, and circus productions. A graduate of the Alvin Ailey/Fordham University BFA program, she has also worked as a choreographer and concert dancer. Recently, she co-founded a nonprofit Italian preschool and is committed to community-driven initiatives.

Sadie has found an incredible community in Squadra—she loves the mission of radical self-improvement and having a team to keep each other accountable. Ravi entered Sadie's orbit when he attended Power Monkey Camp in 2019. In collaborating with him on Squadra, she has seen firsthand how small, consistent changes can create a powerful ripple effect in people’s lives.  She's also making sure Ravi stays accountable for making this program a success. No pressure, Ravi… but also, all the pressure.
